Siblings in Sonoma

Everyone knows Sonoma is one of my favorite places (see my Sonoma recommendations list here). A few weekends back my sister-in-law and her husband flew out so we could have our #SibSippin trip together. It was our first time all of us were in Sonoma with no stressful plans - they got engaged there and we got married there. This was a sibling vacation where we could actually relax and enjoy each others company!

Of course we had to visit Gloria Ferrer and Hanzell because those are so meaningful, but we also threw in two new places. 

The first was Petroni which was recommended to us by our good friends, the Hemphills. We lucked out with our fabulous guide, Brandon, who taught us the art of swirling wine and the right angle to smell the flavor. He was super entertaining and served us cheese and almonds while I toured the cave in a faux fur cape.

The next was Hamel Family Wines which was recommended to me by my good friend Katie. I remember one day Katie walked into the office and said, "this weekend I visited the most amazing winery, with incredible views. I wish we would have joined the wine club." After visiting, I agree 100%. 

Sonoma - Thanks for never disappointing. We’ll be back soon!
